Berkeley got hurt at school.

Berkeley's first Accident Report.

Well on Saturday the two boys rocked the campus rec center. They had fun in the pool and on the rock climbing wall. Brooklyn has not liked climbing walls for awhile. Now I learned just add candy to the ledges. One sunday Berkeley and I checked out the Zombee Walk.

Accident Report:
Berkeley was trying to pick up a ball that rolled through his legs. He lost his balance and fell on his face. No other children were involved. 6 children and 4 teachers were present. Berkeley's nose and forehead are scraped due to the fall. He is developing a bruise on forehead. Wiped area with wipe provided TLC. Later after nap wiped again applied ice. Poor Bethan and Frank felt so bad for him. He never did get the ball. He has been liking school more.

Was not into his lunch much.

But he did have a great day. Today for our walk we rode the streetcar to OHSU to watch the tram. Berkeley enjoyed watching the tram and had big smiles on his face while he pointed at it.

Last night Berkeley jumped into the tub when I was filling it with water.

Oct 20th at school
Today for our walk we went to the raquett ball court. Berkeley had fun throwing the balls and chasing after them. He also enjoyed pulling around the toy dogs. Napped from 12:25-1:45PM

October 17th
Today for our walk we went to a field with the Star room Kids. Berkeley enjoyed holding and running his hands up and down a pine cone. He sat there with complete concentration while feeling all the bumps of the pine cone. Berkeley had a good day.

Oct 22 at school
Berkeley had a good day today. We went to the farmers market today for our walk Berkeley enjoyed looking at all the wonderful produce and goodies at the market. On our way back Yunji offered her had to Berkeley while they rode in the stroller. Berkeley accepted and they held hands the rest of the way back to the center. :)

Attachment Parenting

So Berkeley has been having a hard transition to childcare. My attachment parenting is at the root of it. I had to look up attachment parenting, I had not read the books. One thing is the sling I never used one for Brooklyn but it was sure helpful, much better for the bus etc. Brooklyn and I went to school with Berkeley today to shadow him until lunch time. Brooklyn has the day off of school for inservice. We Berkeley had cried himself horse earlier in the week. At least when I go into teach the kids are being good for Mike. I understand the entire idea of re-direct but Brooklyn and I end up with timeouts which are in part because I need to cool off. I went around town with Brooklyn alone after we hung out at the center. I'm hoping that Brooklyn's half day fridays will give us time to be together without the baby. We never had the chance for a long time to be just the two of us. I get tues and thursday with just Berkeley where we go to play groups or the library.


Less images because my first new computer was a lemon and this one has been used mostly for teaching. The older computer can not open up the iphoto library with any new imports so it needs to see the doctor.

Schools and cell phones

Both kids were in trouble at their respective schools. Lack of cell phone was cited as an issue.
